We, Wichí Women live in Gran Chaco.
Since ever we have woven chaguar threads, a plant that grows in an autochthonous way in the dry woods of Chaco.
Although we learn how to create different stiches and designs from generation to generation, every single piece is one of a kind.
We knit objects that we use in our daily life: bags to collect fruits, fishing nets and vests. Today we also knit other objects that help us exhibit
our art and culture.
